Fifth-place finish in Battle at the Beach

After losing Friday’s opener to bad weather, Tony Jackson Jr. made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday evening at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Mo.) for the second round of the Battle at the Beach. Drawing 26 Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) entries, Tony set fast time in qualifying before picking up a heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Jackson Jr. dropped four spots in the 40-lap affair to finish fifth.
