Runner-up finish with Comp Cams at Poplar Bluff

Friday night found Tony Jackson Jr. in action at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned program. In a field of 29 cars, Tony followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer Jr. Starting the opening night feature in eighth, Jackson Jr. advanced forward six spots to register a runner-up finish Billy Moyer. On Saturday afternoon at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.), Jackson Jr. came in second his heat behind Billy Moyer, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Running into trouble near the midway point of the 40-lapper, Tony pulled off on lap 18 with severe vibrations stemming from his left-rear tire.
