Tennessee Tipoff brings TJR to Smoky Mountain

Tony Jackson Jr. followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the ninth annual Tennessee Tipoff. Drawing 51 Late Models, Jackson Jr. failed to qualify for the feature via his heat race and B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Tony was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 23.
