TJR closes out LOLMDS Speedweeks; Volusia up next

On Monday evening, Tony Jackson Jr. was one of 49 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) for the final two rounds Florida Speedweeks slate. Following a sixth place finish in his heat, Jackson Jr. scored a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Rick Eckert, which positioned him 20th on the starting grid for the A-Main. For the $10,000-to-win finale on Tuesday, Tony came in sixth in his heat, giving him one final shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Locking in the Top 3, Jackson Jr. fell one spot shy of a transfer position with a fourth-place finish.
