Tony Jackson Jr. follows MLRA to Callaway Raceway
With the first leg of a Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association doubleheader on tap, Tony Jackson Jr. checked into Callaway Raceway (Fulton, Mo.) on Friday evening.
Stopping the clock fifth-fastest in his qualifying group, Jackson Jr. finished fourth in his heat race and earned the 13th-starting spot in the feature. With a $5,000 payday on the line, Tony found his into the Top-10 before fading back to 13th when the checkered flew.
Saturday's event at Springfield (Mo.) Raceway was rained out along with Sunday's show at Monett (Mo.) Motor Speedway.
