Tony Jackson Jr. tackles Turkey Bowl XVIII
The Show-Me State played host to Tony Jackson’s Jr. first start in over a month on Saturday when he competed in the $6,064-to-win Turkey Bowl XVIII at Springfield (Missouri) Raceway.
With 49 Open Late Models at the quarter-mile track, Jackson drove his Willard Quarries No. 56 car to victory in one of five heat races.
He started third in the 30-lap A-Main and climbed as high as second early. However, he could complete only 21 laps and came home in 15th position.
With his 2024 season now complete, Jackson raced to a total two victories, 13 top-five finishes and 18 top-10s throughout the year.
