Jackson Jr. bags $10,000 Late Model Fall Nationals victory
LEBANON, Mo. (10/13/25) – New car. New scheme. Same result.
Tony Jackson Jr. rolled out a fresh Longhorn Chassis wrapped in new sponsorship from Grellner Sales & Service, Inc. then powered his way to a dominant victory in Saturday’s Fall Nationals finale at Lucas Oil Speedway. The $10,000 triumph came against a stacked 35-car Super Late Model field at the pristine Missouri facility.
The win marked Jackson’s fourth of the season and his first at the 3/8-mile oval since August 31, 2024.
"I've got like a love-hate relationship with this place. I either run really good or really bad," Jackson said, thanking his team, family and supporters. "I know Chris (Simpson) is one of the best racers you're gonna race with, so any time you got a restart with him behind you, you know that there's a chance he's gonna slide by you. So we just, stuck with the lane we've been running that got us to the lead and hoped for the best."
Jackson opened the Saturday show by qualifying third in his group at the 3/8-mile oval. He drove from second to first in his heat race and started from the pole in the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. He grabbed the lead from Mason Oberkramer on the second circuit and remained out front for the remainder of the event, holding off a charge from Chris Simpson after a restart with three laps remaining.
Jackson took the checkered flag 0.557 seconds ahead of Simpson. Mason Oberkramer, Dillon McCowan and Gordy Gundaker completed the top five.
Competition at Lucas Oil Speedway got underway on Friday with 34 Super Late Models in the pit area at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks." Jackson both started and finished third in his heat, starting him ninth in the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win A-Main. He came home 11th to kick off the doubleheader.
