Tony Jackson Jr. wins Show-Me Challenge non-qualifier

In a stout field of 63 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the 30th annual Show-Me 100 weekend opener, Jackson Jr. posted a fifth-place finish in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Needing to place second or better, Tony came one spot short with a third-place finish.

With Friday’s results transferring him into a B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100 finale, Tony recorded a third-place finish, sending him into the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge non-qualifiers’ feature. After picking up the victory and given the option to tag the tail of the field for the main event or the $2,500 prize, Jackson Jr. accepted the money with lingering transmission issues.
