LEBANON, Mo. (March 16, 2026) — Tony Jackson Jr. opened the new era of the Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) in dominant fashion, sweeping the March Madness doubleheader this past weekend at Springfield Raceway.

Jackson, a two-time MLRA champion, powered his Schlup Enterprises / Allgaier Performance No. 56 Longhorn Chassis Late Model to a $10,000 weekend, boosting his career win total with the series to 22.

“Jerry (Hoffman)’s racetrack, you just don’t know where to go. I was using all the lines and I knew Dillon (McCowan) had come from the back and he’s very good here,” Jackson said after Saturday’s triumph. “When he got by me, I just had to switch lines with him, right? He was running around the bottom, so I switched to the top and that was all she wrote.”

Jackson’s doubleheader in his home state of Missouri began Friday night with a heat race victory. The Lebanon native rolled off from the front row of the 30-lap feature and paced the field to a commanding win over Clay Stuckey.

In a nearly identical performance on Saturday, Jackson again qualified near the top of his group and followed with another heat race win. In the March Madness finale, he led at three different points in the 30-lap feature before taking command over the final 10 circuits to secure his second consecutive $5,000 payday.

Complete results from the doubleheader weekend are available at www.SpringfieldRaceway.com.

Jackson now shifts his focus to the end of the month when Arrowhead Speedway hosts the season-opening Fujita 50 for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series. The event features a pair of $10,000-to-win programs on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28.
