Jackson Jr. finishes runner-up at Farmington Empire Speedway with MLRA

On Saturday evening, Tony Jackson Jr. joined the Midwest Late Model Racing Association at Farmington (Mo.) Empire Speedway for a $5,000-to-win event.

Jackson Jr. set the bar in qualifying among 16 entries and picked up a heat race win which positioned him on the pole for the $5,000 feature event. Tony led 21 circuits in the 30-lapper and came up just short in second-place. He trailed Ryan Gustin while Billy Moyer Sr. completed the podium.

Jackson Jr. continues to lead the MLRA point standings.
